Privacy Policy

Revised as of 09/27/2025

Who We Are
Our website address is: https://nextlevelirl.com/.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

  • If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
  • If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies.
  • When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices.
  • If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser.

Cookies may also be set by third-party services we use (see Analytics & Third-Party Tools below).

You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you visited the other website directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics & Third-Party Tools

We use analytics services and site performance tools to understand how visitors use our site, improve content, and enhance user experience.

  • Google Analytics (via Site Kit by Google): We use Google Analytics to track website traffic, usage patterns, and visitor behavior. Google may collect information such as your IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, and referring pages. This data is anonymized where possible and aggregated for statistical purposes.
Learn more about how Google collects and processes data: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Google Site Kit: Site Kit integrates Google Analytics, Search Console, AdSense (if enabled), and PageSpeed Insights into our website. These tools may set cookies and collect data consistent with Google’s privacy policies.
  • Pinterest: We may use Pinterest features such as “Save” buttons, widgets, or analytics. These may allow Pinterest to collect information about your browsing behavior on our site in accordance with Pinterest’s Privacy Policy: https://policy.pinterest.com/privacy-policy.
  • WordPress: This site is built on WordPress, which may collect anonymous usage data and set cookies for core functionality, updates, and plugin features. Some plugins may also process personal data (such as anti-spam filters, comment forms, or SEO tools).
  • HostGator: Our site is hosted with HostGator. Like most hosting providers, HostGator processes and stores website data (including visitor logs, IP addresses, and server activity) on its servers. You can review their Privacy Policy here: General Data Protection Regulation.
  • Spam Protection: Visitor comments may be checked through automated spam detection services such as Akismet.

When you voluntarily subscribe to our email list through forms on this website, we collect your name and email address. We use this information to send you newsletters, updates, and promotional content related to NextLevelIRL.

We use ConvertKit as our email service provider. ConvertKit securely stores your data on its servers and allows us to manage and deliver email communications. You can read ConvertKit’s Privacy Policy here: https://convertkit.com/privacy.

  • Opt-Out: You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us directly.
  • Do Not Sell My Information (CCPA): We do not sell your personal information.

All requests related to your email data can be made by contacting us at [email protected].

  • Email subscriber data is retained for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your data may remain in our system for recordkeeping purposes unless deletion is requested.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase personal data we hold about you, excluding data we must retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where Your Data Is Sent
